PCOS Body Liberation Retreat Safety Plan
Hello friends! We value your health and safety and want to create the best (and safest) retreat experience for you. To that end we’ve compiled best practices for COVID safety and have a plan to keep all of us safe and having a great time.
We’re basing this plan on current recommendations from the World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control and updating it as new information is released. Please take all precautions while still at home and monitor applicable government travel restrictions and advisories. This plan, combined with all of our good practices during the retreat, will make it possible to be together in community safely!
*While we aim to keep everyone safe, these measures cannot eliminate all risk. If you're in a higher risk category we recommend talking with a medical professional and taking extra precautions when you are making the decision to attend the PCOS Body Liberation Retreat.
Our COVID-19 Safety Plan includes:
Required proof of full vaccination of all participants
Attendance is limited to those folks who have gotten/will have gotten fully vaccinated by 30 days prior to the retreat. That means that you would have received your 2nd vaccine shot (if two are required) by October 12, 2021.
We understand that not everyone is able to/wants to be vaccinated, but have decided that it is mandatory for all participants of this event to create a safer and relaxing space.
Limiting the number of attendees
We’ve capped the guest count at 11 to allow for social distancing
This limited # allows all attendees to have private bedrooms
Planning for frequent cleaning and sanitizing
Common areas will be cleaned and sanitized by venue staff and hosts as frequently as possible.
Cleaning and sanitizing supplies will be available to all attendees for their personal use
Plenty of hand washing stations and hand sanitizer will be made available throughout the retreat
Wearing masks and social distancing in common areas
We will follow the current CDC recommendations for vaccinated individuals when it comes to mask wearing and social distancing. Assume that some mask wearing and distancing will need to take place, but we won’t have a final guideline to follow until retreat time.
Do not attend the retreat if you’ve recently been exposed to or have symptoms of COVID-19.
To protect the health and safety of all attendees, it is policy that one should not attend the retreat if:
You are actively infected or have tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 days
You suspect you are sick or have been exposed and are awaiting test results to confirm or deny a diagnosis of COVID-19
You are showing symptoms or are concerned about possible infection of COVID-19
You’ve had close, sustained contact with an individual confirmed or suspected to be infected with COVID-19, within the last 14 days
If you are no longer able to attend the retreat because of a COVID diagnosis, please notify us by email. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us. If such cancellation is made you will forfeit any previous payments made. However, if another person can be found to take your place, then we may offer you a refund at our discretion.
Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.
